WELCOME TO THE SUNRUN SECURITIES LITIGATION WEBSITE

The purpose of this website is to inform you of a pending class action lawsuit, known as In re Sunrun Shareholder Litigation, Case No. CIV 538215 (the “Action”). Judge Marie S. Weiner of the Superior Court of California for San Mateo County is overseeing this class action.

On December 29, 2017, the Court allowed, or “certified” a class. If you purchased or otherwise acquired shares of the common stock of Sunrun Inc. (“Sunrun” or the “Company”) between August 5, 2015 and February 1, 2016, including if you purchased shares of Sunrun common stock directly in Sunrun’s August 5, 2015 Initial Public Offering (the “Offering”) at $14 per share, your rights may be affected.

This website explains important rights you may have. These rights and options, and the deadlines to exercise them, are further explained in the Notice. You may also wish to read the Frequently Asked Questions section of this website for additional information. Your legal rights are affected whether you act or don’t act. Please read the Notice and this website carefully.

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OPTIONS IN THIS LAWSUIT
SUBMIT A PROOF OF CLAIM AND RELEASE POSTMARKED OR SUBMITTED ONLINE BY JANUARY 3, 2019

This is the only way to be potentially eligible to get a payment in connection with the Settlement. You must submit a Proof of Claim and all required documentation.

EXCLUDE YOURSELF FROM THE CLASS BY SUBMITTING A WRITTEN REQUEST POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 4, 2018

If you do not want to receive a payment from this Settlement, or you want to keep the right to sue or continue to sue Defendants on your own about the legal issues in this case, then you must take steps to get out of the Class. This is called excluding yourself from, or “opting out” of, the Class. If you submitted a request for exclusion in connection with the Notice of Pendency of Class Action that you received earlier this year, you need not do so again.

OBJECT TO THE SETTLEMENT BY SUBMITTING A WRITTEN OBJECTION SO THAT IT IS RECEIVED NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 4, 2018

If you are a Class Member, you may object to the Settlement, the requested attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses, the service awards to Plaintiffs and/or the Plan of Allocation. You must provide a written statement, accompanied by proof of Class membership, with the Court and send a copy to Plaintiffs’ Counsel and the Sunrun Defendants’ Counsel.

GO TO THE SETTLEMENT FAIRNESS HEARING ON DECEMBER 14, 2018

Any Class Member may appear at the Settlement Fairness Hearing and be heard, provided, however, that no such person shall be heard unless his, her, or its objection is made in writing and is filed, together with proof of membership in the Class and with copies of all other papers and briefs to be submitted by him, her, or it to the Court at the Settlement Fairness Hearing, with the Court no later than December 4, 2018, and showing proof of service on Plaintiffs’ Counsel and Sunrun Defendants’ Counsel.

DO NOTHING

If you are a member of the Class and you do not submit a Proof of Claim and Release by January 3, 2019, you will not be eligible to receive any payment from the Net Settlement Fund. You will, however, remain a member of the Class, which means that you give up your right to sue about the claims that are resolved by the Settlement and you will be bound by any judgments or orders entered by the Court pertaining to the Action.

These rights and options – and the deadlines to exercise them – are more fully explained in the Notice. Your legal rights are affected whether you act or don’t act. Please read the Notice and review this website carefully.
